1st Class, October 17

We meet at 10am at Bethany EFC (www.bethanyfreechurch.org) and will discuss the material found int he syllabus. Come, having read the material, and having written your 2 page summary paper (bring 2 copies).
There will be coffee and tea.

We will meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month. We settled on the time: From 10am to 2pm. We will have a coffee break in the middle, but not a lunch break. If you want to bring a lunch to eat during the session that is OK.
The only possible date where we might change from the 3rd Saturday is April. I will be giving information on Snow Cancellation at the next meeting.

Each session has a list of scriptures. I have put them all on one page for your convenience. It is in the English Standard Version (ESV).
Orientation Check List

- Arrive at 10am
- check www.bethanyfreechurch.org for map
- Have Check for Tuition ($300) and books ($66/English or $55/Spanish) Checks written to EFCA. Cash or credit card are ok.
- Think about the best time of day for the classes – would you prefer to start at 8am or later.
- It will be helpful to download the application on the Student Info page and fill it out before you come.
- Bring a smile for pictures.
It’s Getting Closer

The books for the Orientation are arriving. We have 14 confirmed students now. So I am looking forward to a great year of study and growth. Remember to attend the Orientation on September 19. Payment by check, credit card or cash will be due on that date. Contact Dave Carlson for details.
Finalizing Class Registration

We will be ordering books for the course this week. If you have any thoughts of joining us let me know. It will be possible to enter later than that, but it is easier to know now so we can have books on hand.
Cost Update

The cost of GATEWAY is $300 for the tuition for Year One. And here is the cost of books. If you have the books already or if you share books with your husband/wife, these numbers will vary. Payment must be made at the Orientation on September 19 by cash, check (to: EFCA) or credit card.
